Cole

-Cole-

"Go up to your room sweety... your dad is really sick and mommy's just going to go make him better in the basement."

When the wall went up and the population went down, his parents rounded up their neighbors into their homes to help protect eachother.
That was all fine and good until they eventually ran out of food.

With his childhood innocence long since lost, the kid hid inside his room, hiding in the corner.
Where he tried not to hear the sounds downstairs of his mother's screams. And tried to ignore the very sudden silence surrounding the house afterwards.
Then he heard people walking into the house. They sounded angry. He suddenly thought that they might be mad because they found out
what his family was forced to do to stay alive. So he kept quiet.

Even after Elliot takes him along with them to keep him safe, he remains silent, he himself probably doesn't even know why.
He knows his parents are gone. And he knows just as much now as anyone else how horrible and nightmarishly twisted his town has become.
But as long as Elliot's there to protect him, it makes it that much easier for him to try closing his eyes at night.

A song for him would probably be either Come Away Melinda by Uriah Heep, or Blackbird as sung by Evan Rachel Wood
